In 2016, the ATTA partnered with other leaders from the adventure travel industry to found the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund (ATCF), an industry-led nonprofit that funds grassroots, community-led conservation projects protecting the natural and cultural resources that make adventure travel possible.
ATCF handles the sourcing, vetting, and reporting so its members can focus on their businesses while confidently contributing to something bigger. Each year, member companies nominate and help select grant recipients through a competitive cycle, directing industry dollars to high-impact projects rooted in local leadership across biodiversity hotspots worldwide.
